PRESIDENT’S LETTER
Fellow Opticians,
"If your life seems a blur, you're either going too fast or you need new
glasses."
I found this quote in a magazine a few years back and now it's posted in
my office. I thought it appropriate since. The time seems to have flown by
since March. I missed seeing a lot of you folks in the spring due to
having to leave early, but I look forward to seeing your smiling faces in
September and November.
Bringing continuing education to everyone is something that requires a lot
of work. Such as booking speakers, sending out the newsletter,
registration, proctoring the classes, and many other tasks. Each year,
several people stop to say thank you or that they enjoyed a certain
course. That appreciation is very welcomed and in return we are thankful
for those of you who attend.
So slow down, put on those new eyeglasses, fill out that registration
form, and get it in the mail (in a timely manner). Let's have a good time
and get our much need continuing education.
I hope to see you there!
